This promotional piece was developed for KFC to support the launch of their new Wao Deals. Designed with transparency channels, the animation was intended to be overlaid on live scenes, stages, and broadcast content. Rather than fully interrupting the programming, it partially overlays the screen—allowing the original content to remain visible in the background while the promotion is delivered in real time.
In Spanish, this format is known as "rompe pantallas", referring to its ability to momentarily “break through” the viewer’s attention without requiring a commercial break. The result is a more effective form of advertising, as the audience receives the promotional message without disengaging from the content they’re watching.
The client provided the brand assets and logos, and I was responsible for crafting and animating the motion graphics. The final piece was tailored to integrate seamlessly into broadcast environments, balancing visibility with subtlety to maximize impact without disrupting the viewing experience.
