This Christmas campaign was developed in collaboration with the client REY, who provided the visual assets and still renders of their custom-designed Santa Claus character—created externally through their creative partners. Far from being a generic mascot, this Santa was central to the brand’s holiday identity, and my role was to bring him to life with warmth and visual impact.
Using AI-driven animation techniques, I animated Santa Claus across all promotional pieces, respecting the client’s brief and the visual materials they supplied. In addition to animating the character, I was responsible for producing the motion graphics for the entire campaign, ensuring each element aligned with REY’s festive messaging and brand tone.
To generate dynamic poses and expressions for Santa, I developed tailored prompts that allowed us to create variations quickly and efficiently. This approach replaced traditional 3D workflows—such as modeling, rigging, and rendering—resulting in faster production times, reduced costs, and high-impact visuals that resonated with the audience.
The animated assets were designed to integrate seamlessly into REY’s holiday promotions, enhancing visibility while maintaining the integrity of the broadcast content. It was a privilege to contribute to a campaign that combined creativity, innovation, and shared vision, always in close alignment with the client’s goals and the spirit of the season.
